White Hart Lane merupakan stadion sepak bola yang terletak di Tottenham, London bagian utara Inggris dan merupakan kandang bagi klub sepak bola Tottenham Hotspur F.C. Pada tahun 2006 stadion ini direnovasi sehingga kapasitas bertambah menjadi 36.310 tempat duduk.

ANDRE VILLA BOAS

Luís André de Pina Cabral e Villas-Boas (lahir di Porto, Portugal, 17 Oktober 1977; umur 36 tahun) atau lebih dikenal sebagai André Villas-Boas adalah seorang pelatih sepak bola berkebangsaan Portugal yang kini melatih Tottenham Hotspur.
Villas-Boas pernah menjadi pelatih Académica de Coimbra selama sembilan bulan dan manajer Porto selama satu tahun. Bersama Porto, ia meraih empat gelar juara dan menjadi pelatih termuda yang pernah meraih gelar juara Liga Eropa UEFA. Ia kemudian menjadi manajer Chelsea pada bulan Juni 2011. Setelah mengalami sejumlah hasil dan penampilan tim yang buruk, Villas-Boas dipecat Chelsea pada 4 Maret 2012. Empat bulan kemudian, pada 4 Juli 2012, Villas-Boas ditunjuk menjadi manajer Tottenham Hotspur.
Villas-Boas tidak pernah menjadi seorang pemain sepak bola profesional.

Sejarah Singkat
Hotspur Football Club, cikal bakal Tottenham Hotspur, didirikan oleh sekelompok siswa All Hallows Church pada 1882. Nama Hotspur diduga diberikan sesuai nama Sir Henry Percy, yang juga dijuluki Harry Hotspur dalam karya William Shakespeare, Henry IV bagian pertama. Sir Henry memiliki tanah di kawasan pendirian klub, sehingga mempengaruhi pemilihan nama klub oleh siswa-siswa dari sekolah tata bahasa tersebut. Pada 1884, klub berganti nama menjadi Tottenham Hotspur Football Club and Atheltic Club demi mencegah kesamaan nama dengan klub lain, London Hotspur. Klub beralih status jadi profesional pada 1895 dan lantas mengikuti Southern League.

Prestasi Tottenham tak pernah menggembirakan sebelum akhirnya untuk kali pertama sukses menjuarai Divisi Satu musim 1950/51. Para pemain Spurs saat itu antara lain Alf Ramsey, Ronnie Burgess, Ted Ditchburn, Lee Duquemin, Sonny Walters, dan Bill Nicholson. Gaya "push and run" yang diperkenalkan manajer Arthur Rowe membuat Tottenham disegani lawan-lawan dan membuat tim diperhitungkan selama dasawarsa tersebut. Namun, gelar liga kedua Spurs baru diraih persis sepuluh musim kemudian. Salah satu faktor pendukung keberhasilan tersebut, konon karena kondisi lapangan White Hart Lane yang buruk, meski untuk ukuran saat itu.

Pada 1958, Bill Nicholson menjadi manajer dan memulai salah satu periode keemasan klub. Selama 16 tahun berkiprah di bangku teknik tim, Nicholson meraih delapan gelar utama. Ketika Nicholson pensiun, Spurs kehilangan kuku di Liga Primer. Spurs terdegradasi pada musim 1976/77 setelah 27 tahun berlaga di top tier. Fakta buruk ini disusul dengan penjualan kiper andalan Pat Jennings ke rival abadi mereka, Arsenal, yang tentu ditentang keras para fans. Pada 1980-an hingga 2000-an, kekuatan Spurs tetap diperhitungkan di kancah Liga Primer. Tapi, mereka baru sebatas menjadi klub kejutan yang belum benar-benar mampu mendominasi kompetisi sebagai tim dengan mental juara.

KELEBIHAN & KEKURANGAN BBM DI ANDROID DAN IOS

Kehadiran BBM di smartphone canggih Android dan iOS enar-benar mengguncangkan dunia sejak terdengarnya kabar kan dirilis aplikasi BBM For Android/iOS.
Memang benar, dulu aplikasi tersebut sudah dirilis dan sambutan begitu hangat yang diberikan masyarakat luas ternyata membuat server menjadi kewalahan. Phew, panjang juga yak. Mungkin pikiran pertama yang terlintas di kepala adalah, ini adalah cerita tentang si lakon yang lagi dalam perjalanan, kemudian capek dan mampir di “Hotel California”. Dari sini mulai muncul kejadian aneh dan seterusnya dan seterusnya. Tapi tahukah anda bahwa lirik lagu ini juga secara kontroversial dinterpretasikan tentang Church of Satan dari Anton LaVey. Saya tidak akan membahas tentang apa itu church of satan yang memang diluar konteks tulisan ini, tapi saya hanya menyebutkan alasan penginterpretasian.

Ini alasannya:

* The Eagles merupakan anagram dari “gales (of) heet” yang berarti winds of hell.

* Pada tahun 1969 sebuah hotel di California Street, San Francisco dialihfungsikan menjadi church of satan oleh Anton LaVey.

Bagaimanapun juga Don Henley mengkonfirmasi di Daily Mail “It was really about the excesses of American culture and certain girls we knew. But it was also about the uneasy balance between art and commerce”

Dijelaskan bahwa tema dibelakang dari lirik lagu ini adalah dekadensi industri musik di Los Angeles yang dideskripsikan sebagai “penjara” para artis dalam petikan lirik “We are all just prisoners here of our own device.” dan akhirnya tidak dapat keluar “You can check out at any time you like, but you can never leave”. Yang jelas kata Don Henley, lagu ini bukan bercerita tentang church of satan, hotel secara harfiah yang bernama “Hotel California” ataupun tentang rumah sakit jiwa. It is all about symbol.

CERITA DI BALIK 3 LAGU CHRIS MARTIN

1. Fix You

Lagu 'Fix You' ternyata ditulis oleh Chris Martin sebagai hadiah untuk sang istri, Gwyneth Paltrow, setelah kematian ayahnya. Lagu itu ada di trek ke-4 dari album 'X&Y'.

2. Speed of Sound

Chris Martin mengatakan bahwa ia menulis lagu 'Speed of Sound' dalam upaya untuk menangkap semua perasaan atas kelahiran anak perempuannya, Apple Blythe Alison Martin. Anak pertamanya itu lahir pada tanggal 14 Mei 2004.

3. In My Place

Saat perekaman lagu 'In My Place' ada seorang pria bernama Ian McCullough dari band Echo And The Bunnymen yang sedang duduk di samping bangkunya. Lagu itu dibuat Chris tiga tahun yang lalu sebelum peluncuran album kedua mereka, 'A Rush Of Blood To The Head' yang muncul di tahun 2002.

The Beatles adalah kelompok pemusik Inggris beraliran rock, dibentuk di Liverpool pada tahun 1960, seringkali dianggap sebagai pemusik tersukses secara komersial dan paling banyak mendapat pujian dalam musik populer. Sejak tahun 1962, kelompok ini terdiri dari John Lennon (gitar ritem, vokal), Paul McCartney (gitar bass, vokal), George Harrison (gitar utama, vokal), Ringo Starr (drum, vokal). DUNIA BERKABUNG KEHILANGAN NELSON MANDELA

Nelson Mandela telah pergi selama-lamannya, dia wafat di usia 95 tahun. Tidak hanya warga Afrika Selatan yang berkabung meratapi kepergian Mandela, warga dunia turut bersedih atas wafatnya pria yang gemar memakai pakaian khas Indonesia, batik.

Mulai dari Presiden Amerika Serikat (AS) Barack Obama, Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa (PBB), hingga kaum selebritis, berbondong-bondong mengucapkan belasungkawa yang mendalam.

Warga Afsel di seluruh dunia pun melakukan sejumlah aksi simpatik dengan maksud untuk memperingati wafatnya Mandela. Johannesburg merupakan tempat Mandela berbaring untuk selamanya saat ini, dia meninggal diakibatkan infeksi paru-paru yang dia derita.

TENAGA ENDOGEN

Tenaga endogen adalah tenaga yang berasal dari dalam bumi yang menyebabkan perubahan pada kulit bumi. Tenaga endogen ini sifatnya membentuk permukaan bumi menjadi tidak rata. Mungkin saja di suatu daerah dulunya permukaan bumi rata (datar) tetapi akibat tenaga endogen ini berubah menjadi gunung, bukit, atau pegunungan. Pada bagian lain permukaan bumi turun menjadikan adanya lembah atau jurang. Secara umum tenaga endogen dibagi dalam tiga jenis yaitu tektonisme, vulkanisme, dan seisme atau gempa.

Dampak Positif Tenaga Eksogen:

1) Kawasan tangkapan air hujan (catchment area)
 

 Tangkapan air hujan merupakan wilayah yang banyak menenima curah hujan dan mampu menyimpan serta mengeluarkannya pada musim kemarau ke daerah yang lebih rendah berupa air tanah. Kawasan mi memberikan arti penting bagi ketersediaan sumber air di wilayah bagian bawah. Kawasan Bogor dan Puncak Cianjur merupakan contoh kawasan catch ment area bagi sumber air di Jakarta. Kawasan pengunungan Dieng Menjadi catchinent area bagi wilayah Purbalingga, Banjar negara, dan Wonosobo. Suatu kawasan disebut catchment area jika ditumbuhi tanaman besar yang mampu menvimnan dan menyerap air hujan, dan berada di wilayah yang lebth tinggi.

2) Sumber bahan tambang dan sumber daya mineral
 

 Jika kamu pernah berkunjung ke daerah lereng Merapi terutama arah barat daya, di sana kamu akan banyak menjumpai penambangan batu dan pasir pada daerah aliran sepanjang sungai, seperti Kali Putih dan Kali Boyong. Batu dan pasir yang mereka gali merupakan material yang dihasilkan oleh adanya proses vulkanisme terutama pada saat terjadi letusan Gunung Merapi. Tentu, bahan galian di sekitar lereng Merapi juga akan dijumpai sama pada daerah lain ketika terjadi letusan gunung api. Selain itu, bahan tambang mineral, seperti emas, perak, bijih besi, aluminium, dan bahan tambang lain banyak terbentuk pada daerah-daerah rekahan pertemuan lempeng.

3) Pusat tenaga listrik
 

 Sebagai pusat tenaga listrik, yaitu melalui pembangkit listrik tenaga uap (panas bumi). Air yang meresap ke dalam tanah yang cukup dalam akan bersentuhan dengan batuan yang masih panas. Akibatnya, air berubah menjadi uap yang panas. Uap kemudian mengumpul dan terperangkap dalam suatu rongga di bawah tanah. Uap tersebut tekanannya sangat tinggi dan apabila dikeluarkan ke permukaan bumi akan mempunyai daya dorong yang kuat. Tenaga inilah yang menggerakan turbin tenaga listrik.
Contoh pembangkit listrik tenaga uap adalah PLTU Paiton di Jawa Timur.

4) Tempat habitat berbagai jenis flora dan fauna
 

Hewan di wilayah Indonesia bagian barat dan timur memiliki perbedaan j enis. Perbedaan tersebut sebagai akibat proses geologi yang memisahkan daratan Indonesia yang pada mulanya merupakan satu daratan yang sama dengan sebutan Pangaea. Hewan di kawasan timur Indonesia memiliki persamaan dengan hewan di kawasan Australia sedangkan hewan di kawasan barat Indonesia mempunyai persamaan dengan kawasan Asia.

5) Tempat pariwisata dan laboratorium alam
 

 Sebagai tempat pariwisata dan laboratorium alam, misalnya puncak Gunung l3romo yang digunakan sebagai tempat pariwisata alam. Tempat yang lain misalnya, Plato Dieng dan Laboratorium Geologi Alam Karang Sambung di Kebumen Jawa Tengah.

Dampak negatif  Tenaga Endogen ;

1) Letusan gunung api merupakan bencana bagi masyarakat sekitar karena dapat menghancurkan dan membakar hutan yang ada di lereng gunung berapi. Semburan awan panasnya dapat menghanguskan mahiuk hidup yang ada di sekitarnya.

2) Gempa bumi merupakan bencana alam yang dahsyat.

Bencana ini dapat menghancurkan bangunan, seperti perumahan, gedung, jembatan, bendungan, dan sebagainya. Bahkan akan lebih menakutkan lagi jika gempa bumi diikuti tsunami.
 Apa yang kamu rasakan ketika ada pohon besar tumbang jatuh ke tanah? Apa yang terasa ketika di dekatmu ada truk sedang menurunkan batu-batu besar secara mendadak? Bumi bergetar bukan? Bumi akan bergetar lebih kuat apabila kerak bumi yang merupakan batuan kulit bumi bergerak tiba-tiba. Gempa bumi dapat berakibat kerusakan pada bangunan-bangunan buatan manusia.

3) Tenaga endogen menghasilkan lereng-lereng yang curam sehingga tingkat erosi dan longsor lahan tinggi. Hal ini akan mengakibatkan ancaman bagi penduduk yang tinggal di sekitar lereng tersebut.

 Tenaga eksogen yaitu tenaga yang berasal dari luar bumi. Sifat umum tenaga eksogen adalah merombak bentuk permukaan bumi hasil bentukan dari tenaga endogen. Bukit atau tebing yang terbentuk hasil tenaga endogen terkikis oleh angin, sehingga dapat mengubah bentuk permukaan bumi.

Secara umum tenaga eksogen berasal dari 3 sumber, yaitu:

• Atmosfer yaitu perubahan suhu dan angin.
• Air yaitu bisa berupa aliran air, siraman hujan, hempasan gelombang laut, gletser, dan sebagainya.
• Organisme yaitu berupa jasad renik, tumbuh-tumbuhan, hewan, dan manusia.

 Di permukaan laut, bagian litosfer yang muncul akan mengalami penggerusan oleh tenaga eksogen yaitu dengan jalan pelapukan, pengikisan dan pengangkutan, serta sedimentasi. Misalnya di permukaan laut muncul bukit hasil aktivitas tektonisme atau vulkanisme. Mula-mula bukit dihancurkannya melalui tenaga pelapukan, kemudian puing-puing yang telah hancur diangkut oleh tenaga air, angin, gletser atau dengan hanya gravitasi Bumi. Hasil pengangkutan itu kemudian diendapkan, ditimbun di bagian lain yang akhirnya membentuk timbunan atau hamparan bantuan hancur
dari yang kasar sampai yang halus.

 Contoh lain dari tenaga eksogen adalah pengikisan pantai. Setiap saat air laut menerjang pantai yang akibatnya tanah dan batuannya terkikis dan terbawa oleh air. Tanah dan batuan yang dibawa air tersebut kemudian diendapkan dan menyebabkan pantai menjadi dangkal. Di daerah pegunungan bisa juga ditemukan sebuah bukit batu yang kian hari semakin kecil akibat tiupan angin.
